We would really like to have this ceremony outside on the football field. Any type of light rain or drizzle, our plan is to proceed with an outdoor graduation. Please plan accordingly for possible bad weather.
-
If the weather is considerably bad (heavy rain or lighting) we will have an indoor graduation at 9am in the gymnasium. Two guests will be permitted per graduate in the gymnasium. Two additional seats will be in the Auditorium, Cafe and Library. More information will be provided on the rain situation.

Dennis-Yarmouth School District Senior Graduation Attire
Purpose The graduation ceremony is a momentous occasion that recognizes the dedication and achievements of our seniors. Our position aims to honor both the collective accomplishments of our students and the individual excellence that each student brings to the Dennis-Yarmouth community.

Students are not permitted to wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, work boots, flip-flops, Teva-type sandals, or Birkenstock-style sandals under the graduation gown. Students in need of assistance to meet the dress code requirements should contact their guidance counselor for support. For any questions or assistance, please reach out to your guidance counselor. During the graduation ceremony, seniors are encouraged to wear approved stoles, cords, and other regalia that reflect their accomplishments both within and outside the high school. This practice not only celebrates shared achievements but also acknowledges the unique contributions and heritage of each student.
