Dear DY Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2025- 2026 school year!  I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing summer and were able to spend time with your friends and family.  I am extremely excited to see our students back in school on September 3rd. 

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School will open its doors to all students on Wednesday, September 3rd.  The school day begins at 7:22am and ends at 2:04pm. 

Please find your student’s most updated schedule on PowerSchool. Communication was sent in July requesting to please be on the lookout for your PowerSchool Parent Portal invitation if you don't already have an account.  

A student's schedule is the result of planning that involved the student, you as parents/guardians, teachers, and guidance counselors beginning last March.  We cannot modify a student's schedule unless an error in the scheduling was made (i.e. you were scheduled for a course you may have already taken, or you have not met the prerequisites).  If you are interested in a level change from level 2 to honors level or honors level to level 2, please contact your guidance counselor.  If there is an error on your schedule regarding any major course, please call 508-398-7650 and make an appointment to see your counselor.   Students will receive a second copy of their schedule in Dolphin Home on the first day of school.

Please mark your calendar for our fall semester open house, which will be held on Thursday, September 18th, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Families can now pay iPad/Chromebook user fees online by going to our school district website and click on the “online payment center” under Families and Students. User fees can be paid online with a credit card or check.  We encourage you to pay your fee online before the first day of school so that students can receive their devices as soon as possible.  

Chromebooks/iPads may be picked up at the high school main office Monday – Friday between 7am – 2pm beginning on Thursday, August 21st.
