Hello, Dolphins!
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful community we have built together. It's a time to reflect on the blessings of the past year and to express our thanks to each of you for your ongoing support and dedication to our school.
I'm incredibly proud to highlight the extraordinary efforts of our student organizations in giving back to the community. Pictured below is our Spanish & German Honor Societies, the National Honor Society, and the Student Council, who volunteered at The Family Pantry. Their hard work enabled the distribution of turkeys and all the "fixings" needed for Thanksgiving meals to over 780 families in need. A heartfelt thanks goes out to their advisors, Diane Ross, Rebecca Horne, and Ed Fiorentino, for guiding and inspiring these young leaders.
Also pictured is Mrs. Bennett's Multi-lingual Student Advisory Council, who have been diligently working to post translations of commonly used locations in our building in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian-Creole, fostering an even more inclusive environment for all.
I would like to give a big shout-out to the classes of 2026 and 2027 for hosting a successful craft fair this past Saturday. Your creativity and hard work truly shone through. Our Drama program also deserves applause for putting on an amazing show over the weekend, showcasing the talents and dedication of our student performers.
Lastly, congratulations to the winner of the November Dolphin Shout Out Raffle! Enjoy your well-deserved Dunkin Donuts gift card!
As we head into this winter season, let us remain thankful for the vibrant spirit of giving, collaboration, and excellence that defines our school. I wish you all a safe, joyous, and peaceful Thanksgiving.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
