Hello, Dolphins!
We have had a remarkable week here at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School! Our return from the Thanksgiving break was highlighted by the fantastic start of Winter Athletics on Monday, December 1st. We eagerly anticipate a successful winter season for our D-Y student athletes.
Additionally, we were treated to an incredible Holiday Concert, beautifully orchestrated by our dedicated Music Department. The event featured outstanding performances from our talented students in Chorus, Band, and Orchestra. Well done to everyone involved!
We concluded the week on a high note with our Poetry Out Loud competition this afternoon. A huge round of applause goes out to all the students who took to the stage. Preparing and presenting a poem from memory is no small feat, and standing before your peers requires immense courage. Congratulations to all for your bravery and talent! Special recognition goes to our competition winners, SJ Rubenstein took home 3rd place, Catherine Krukowski landed in 2nd place and Edythe Sears is D-Y's 2025 Poetry Out Loud Winner! We are excited to see how she excels in the next round of the competition—D-Y is already incredibly proud of you all!
As temperatures drop, stay warm and enjoy a restful weekend.
