D-Y High School students are putting our Core Values into action. 🤖🏀

Through a meaningful collaboration between the robotics class and the Unified basketball team, students created a robotic device "The Includer" to help a teammate fully participate in the game. Designed to remove barriers and provide fair access, this project reflects our belief that every student deserves the support they need to thrive.

The Includer will travel with the Unified team when they compete against Barnstable High School at the Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational at TD Garden on January 18, 2026.

This work speaks to the strength of our D-Y community, the excellence of our students and faculty, and the pride we take in ensuring equal opportunities for all. We are grateful for the leadership of robotics teacher Mr. Hansen and Unified team coach Ms. Wyse, and for the students who brought this vision to life.🐬
