D-Y Winter Percussion is headed to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI World Championships!

The Dennis-Yarmouth Winter Percussion ensemble delivered an outstanding performance this past Saturday at the NESBA New England Championships, earning a strong 4th place finish among an exceptionally competitive field.

Competing against some of the top programs in the region, D-Y rose to the challenge with a powerful and precise performance that showcased months of dedication, musical excellence, and visual artistry. With the level of competition higher than ever, the ensemble’s placement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of every student involved.

“This was one of our strongest performances of the season,” said a student performer. “We knew the competition would be tough, but we left everything out on the floor.”

The momentum continues this week as the group prepares to travel to Dayton, Ohio to compete in the WGI World Championships- one of the most prestigious events in the activity, featuring ensembles from across the country and around the globe.
